First, we will summary about chapter 7. Holden come to room and turn on the light. He surprised because he saw a Ackley face all the blood face. He asked why they fight. Stradlater said that Holden had a lousy personality. But Ackley couldn’t understand that stuff. After Ackley sleeping, Holden trying not to think about old Jane and Stradlater in Ed Banksy’s car. But it was almost impossible. The trouble was I know that guys Stradlater technique. Suddenly he decided to go out Pencey! Because that place made him too sad and lonesome. Holden prepared all set his bag to go out and yelled at the along a passage. After he quickly goes down the stair.
Next, we will summary about chapter 8.After he escaped the dormitory and walked and walked to the station at night. The weather is so cold, but it doesn't matter to him just the cold made his nose hurt. When he arrived the station he needed to wait about ten minute. He liked that ride a train at night, but at that time his feeling wasn't enjoying. After he sit in the train, an women who was very good looking sit next to him. She recognized that Holden was same school with her son and she said she is Ernest Morrow's mom. He introduced his name, Rudolf Schmidt who he is the janitor of their dorm. It was first lie. Ernest was doubtless the biggest bastard. She wondered her son's school life, so he told lie to her that her son was very good student and about the election that almost everybody wanted Ernest to be a president, but he refused because he is so shy. And then Holden wanted to drink with her at club car, but she didn't. And she asked why he was outside of school even though wouldn't start the Christmas vacation. Holden told lie again. He said he had this tiny little tumor on the brain so he needed operation and that is reason why he had ridden the train. Over time they didn't talk too much, and they just read a timetable and a magazine. When the train arrived at Newark she invited Holden to their house in summer at Massachusetts. He said he can’t because he was going to South America with his grandmother and it was last lie.
Next, we will talk about Holden lies. Holden tell a lie to Ernest’s mother about he adapts himself very well to thing. Someone may think that it is a white lie because Ernest’s mother does not worry about his son, but we don’t think so. If he tells the truth, he will get advice to his mother or somebody, and then he will be better in school. Sometimes white lies are better than truths, but if someone can know the truth, truths are better than white lies.
Finally, we will give you 3 quizzes. For homework, commentators do the following:
